+for a while now i've been using a small homegrown utility to interact with
+various [xdg desktop portal][xdp] backends from the cli.
+
+for a while i had been playing with the idea to also have an implementation of
+a backend, primarily to let me run flatpak applications that want the secrets
+portal. i just implemented that 🎉
+
+the repo has a default config. check that for how you can configure the
+commands used for reading and writing secrets.
