for a while now i’ve been using a small homegrown utility to interact with various xdg desktop portal backends from the cli.
for a while i had been playing with the idea to also have an implementation of a backend, primarily to let me run flatpak applications that want the secrets portal. i just implemented that 🎉
the repo has a default config. check that for how you can configure the commands used for reading and writing secrets.
there’s an ebuild for it in my personal overlay:
