Sony WF-1000 XM3 battery +replacement

I’ve had these since 2021, while they are a bit bulky I am happy with +them and use them mostly around the city to listen to podcasts and the +occasional bit of music.

After they would first slowly show signs of not holding their full +charge anymore, the batteries completely died on me after some 3 years. +I was fully prepared to have to throw them out when I learned that the +batteries are just standard cells and can be easily swapped.
